The Gokongwei family allegedly built Robinsons Galleria to serve as the romping ground of their mutant offspring Robinson, who was supposedly the twin brother of Robina Gokongwei-Pe. Robinson's popularity peaked in the 1990s, when everyone believed that he indeed existed and frequented the ladies' fitting rooms of the department store. Others claimed he also liked to munch on little children, whom he would somehow grab while they were in the comfort room.
And there goes the story folks. They also said that the "R" in Robinson's mall were shaped like a snake head.

And the story that made this very popular is when an another rumor spread in the name of a popular actress during that time.. Ms. Alice Dixon. Alice Dixon was said to be a victim of the snake dude. Well, almost. The story said that she went to the fitting room which had a trap door and fell to the snake's lair. When she fell there, She managed to escape. And when the Robinson's are aware that she is an actress and feeding her to snake Gokongwei is a terrible decision and very controversial. Instead, they bribed Alice to shut up about the incident...
Another story was that this snake dude had fallen in love to Alice. Thus, letting her live.. Aww... He is half-human hearted after all.. even though it's scaly and snakelike and everything.. It's still half human indeed.
BUT... It was still not proven and they said that the SM corporations spread this wicked rumor to attract more customers rather than Robinsons. How cruel, is in it!? Making us believe about the demi-snake falling in love to a mere mortal.. Sigh..
Anyways.. Ladies.. If you want to shop at Robinsons. Feel free! Do not worry about this flabbergasting rumors.. All you need to do.. Is watch out that stalker cams.. (they're everywhere)
